Creatively Navigate Life's Passages, Enjoy Being You

Kripalu Center, Lenox, MA

November 16-18, 2018
Ageless Soul

Life is a series of passages, each one an opportunity to live fully and enjoy being yourself.
In a program designed for everyone at any stage of life, join Thomas Moore to
  • Reimagine aging in a fresh and positive light
  • Discover new ways of being spiritual
  • Creatively deal with sickness, and emotions such as fear, anger, loneliness, and loss
  • See the role of humor and storytelling throughout life's phases.
The weekend includes discussion, dream work, break-out groups, and "soul-meditations." As a former monk who holds a PhD in religious studies, Thomas offers a deeply spiritual outlook. He draws on 40 years as a psychotherapist to address intimate and difficult aspects of growing older, looking at the mythic and universally human experience of aging.

Ottawa, Ontario

Thomas will be offering two workshops for MAGentics at St. Paul University, Ottawa.

October 26, 2018-9 am - 4 pm
Workshop for Caretakers on Bringing the Depth of Soul to their Work

Soul means depth, connection, heart, imagination, empathy, and an appreciation for flawed humanity. Soul is the foundation and essence of a person, and so a helper needs depth of vision to help at a level that counts. Such an approach is not only effective for those who are helped but offers deeper satisfaction to the professional.

A Soulful Life in a Soulful World

According to traditional teachings, soul makes us deeply human and unique persons. It allows us to be intimate with the people around us and with everything we do. It is found at home, in family, among friends and in nature. It needs attachment, rather than detachment, and yet it fosters a deep and very human kind of spirituality.

October 6, 7 & 8 10 am to 5 pm

If you can get to New Hampshire to see the leaves this Fall, my wife Hari Kirin/ Joan Hanley will be part of the Monadnock Art Tour. Her paintings are filled with the spirit of our mountain, Monadnock, and tour pond.  There is transformation and magic in every brush stroke. She has taken a turn in her work, and these are fresh and exciting paintings. Join her in our neighbor's barn where her work will be available to view or purchase # 24 on the tour. If you're not local you can see the paintings on Instagram @ harikirin.
